How it works
A permanent magnetic circuit attracts ferrous contaminants from the material stream while the separator is suspended above the conveyor. Cleaning is planned according to the selected manual arrangement.
Typical applications and materials
- Mining conveyors
- Coal handling
- Aggregates and bulk handling
Installation position and process flow
Confirm cross-belt or inline position, belt width, burden depth, suspension height, structural support and safe access for manual cleaning.
How to select
- Belt width, speed and burden depth
- Suspension height from the material surface
- Maximum tramp iron size and expected contamination
- Manual cleaning access and safe isolation procedure
- Material or contaminant to be removed
- Process capacity and particle or lump size
- Available installation space and maintenance access
- Dust, moisture, temperature and corrosion exposure
South African and African project conditions
Confirm dust, weather exposure, humidity, corrosion, power supply where applicable, logistics and maintenance access for the actual project. This site does not claim local stock, a South African office or a local installation team.
